Beech Hedge Reduction

I always seem to forget to take before and after shots of my work. I guess it’s just the eagerness to crack on and get the job complete. However, looking back at some pictures I took in late October, you can see the hedge in full leaf. It needed quite a bit taking off as it had got quite tall and leggy. It was around 16ft in place and needed a pole saw to remove some of the stands. I shaped with a domed top and a slight slope on either side. Its new height will make light work of trimming next year.
